- Doc 1 has short and long vowels a, e, i, o, u decodable texts representing the various spellings for each vowel. For example, for long i – stories are organized by open syllable i, i_e, igh, y, ye, ind/ild. The doc also contains au/aw stories and the many ways of how long u is formed, including ew and oo.
- Doc 2 has short oo, oi/oy, ow/ou, and r-controlled vowels.
